Hugging is known to have lots of emotional and health benefits, but what will the hug do?

Hugs are a universal human behaviour. Even in cultures where hugging is not common among adults, we all hug our children. It feels like common sense to hug our kids, friends , relatives, or for a fact strangers that we are drawn like a magnet to them

When we touch – cuddle, hug, or we are holding hands – our bodies release “feel good” hormones. These hormones include oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. Once the hormones are released into our bodies, we experience feelings of happiness, relaxation, improve mood, and lower levels of depression.

There’s also research that suggests hugging or cuddling for more than six seconds, oxytocin and serotonin are released at maximum levels.

Why is hugging important and why as humans we need to embrace another being for the wellbeing of our psyche, body and our soul?

From another point of view and from personal experience as a massage therapist and as an energetic healer, I noticed that some bodies are colder than others, can genetics play an important role in how hot or cold the body is, or it has mainly to do with the frequency /energy levels of that person?  Science is very accurate in describing many things but at times there are some peculiar moments /energy that trapped being released, emotions overflowing as tears of sadness or happiness that even science cannot explain it.

I describe the body as a living healthy fine machinery that when fed well, looked after, it radiates light, love and beauty, it shines, it glows and we immediately feel love and relaxation when we encounter someone like that, can you resonate with that?

When the body is under nurtured not only from a physical point of view but predominantly from and energetic point of view it looks and feels sick, it stagnates and anxiety, depression will result as a consequence of it, so what is the solution?

Well it is very simple, our body is like a candle, when the flame is weak or it burns out we need another candle to start it up, since cuddling session are amazing and very beneficial.

What can I expect from the session?

We will have a chat over the phone to see if we connect and that both of us are happy with each others company , it is very important that you feel comfortable with the therapist and that I am happy to work with you. We will have a brief consultation , and discuss ,connect and spend time in each others company , from there onwards we let the body to guide us as the intelligence of it knows better ,we will discuss boundaries

I have seen many people that do courses for cuddling and that  on their website page they post their cuddling diploma, I’m sure that will add value to the session but I do not see how that will teach you to understand the energetic elements of feeling the chi, prana ,white energy ,loving energy however you want to call it , as it is only and definitely a work which is based on intuition and not something that can be taught, from a personal point of view the course can mainly be focused on energetic techniques, heart opening exercises rather than techniques, it remind me of western medicine ;] which is essential but sees only the human body from a scientific point of view rather then and interconnected synchronised system of well-being which is composed from the mind, body and soul.
